Our Process

Our team’s expertise is not just in design but in the art of collaboration–from initial concept to installation. We take an unhurried approach with our clients, working closely with them, listening to their needs, and transforming their ideas into bespoke designs that fit their unique lifestyle. The process should be rewarding and enjoyable — not stressful or overwhelming.
Here’s what you can expect from us each step of the way:

Step 1: Initial Consultation

  • Meet one-on-one either in person at our showroom or virtually
  • Outline scope of project
  • Establish your vision
  • Discuss budget, timing and design requirements
  • Get to know each other

STEP 2: Visit To Your Home

  • Schedule visit and consultation in your home
  • Learn how your family uses the space and your goals
  • Discuss the design process and schedule your design review
  • Provide a list of construction partners

STEP 3: Design Review

  • Review materials budget, detailed space plans and renderings in our showroom
  • Note and execute all changes to the design for final review
  • Determine additional design details for the project
  • Arrange for samples to keep

STEP 4: Details, Details, Details

We will start building a timeline by ordering the gating items first such as cabinets and appliances. Our extended network of construction professionals will be provided to you so that you can plan and schedule the construction phase.

  • Finalize all design decisions and sign off on cabinet drawings
  • Choose final cabinet finishes, trims and accessories
  • Wrap up material selections: countertops, tile, hardware and plumbing
  • Provide timeline on all materials and arrange delivery
  • Walk-through and plan review with construction team
  • Discuss any additional material selections

STEP 5: Designer Support Along The Way

  • Attend cabinet layout and review with the contractor at start of job
  • Oversee countertop template and install depending on complexity
  • Coordinate glass template
  • Provide job completion packet with warranty and care documents
  • Take photos and receive referrals
  • Celebrate your completed project
